(2) PAIR GROMMES 61PG mono tube Amplifier 7581A recapped restored excellent

  

Two exceedingly rare 1956 Grommes 61pg Monophonic integrated amplifiers. Completely recapped, retubed, and restored. Each amp uses (3) 12AX7, (2) 5Y3, and (2) 5881/6LCGC. These amps use the matched quad of new Tung Sol 7581As that I bought for them. 7581As are the most robust of the 6L6 series.

Needless to say, these sound really great and need nothing. Inputs are magnetic phono, ceramic phono, AUX and Tuner. 1950s Grommes amps are highly regarded and highly prized. The circuit (see picture) is elegant in its simplicity. 61PGs exceed even the 56pg in sound quality.

I've loved owning them but now have more nice amps than I can use. And when they do, they are always unrestored, need tubes, and may have severe problems like transformers. These are ready to go.
