Model HF-81 HF81 VACUUM TUBE STEREO INTEGRATED AMPLIFIER. The epitome of the [popularly priced] tube amplifier art of its day - and this was a kit! You will not be disappointed with this unit!

About 14 watts per channel. Thoroughly gone over and professionally serviced. One minor issue: the original on/off switch on the treble control failed, a previous owner installed a toggle switch unobtrusively on the right side of the cabinet.

Tubes tested, tube pins cleaned and straightened, controls and switches cleaned and lubricated, new cathode bypass electrolytic capacitors installed in the phono/tape head stages and output stages, hand-matched channel-to-channel resistor pairs in critical circuits. You will likely not find one of these in better electronic condition. I would give it 6.5 cosmetically - the brass-colored front sub-panel is particularly nice, the previous owner refinished the metal front panel assembly, and did not do the greatest job. Very comprehensive control amp for its time, dual concentric bass and treble controls, focus (balance) control, tape head capable with slide switch EQ for 3.75 or 7.5/15 IPS, supports auxA, auxB, tuner, FM multiplex, mic microphone, phono, and tape head inputs, mode control for stereo, mono, monitoring either channelA or channelB through both outputs. Standard screw terminal strips for speaker output. One switched 117 VAC outlet.
