Line Magnetic 508IA Integrated Audiophile Tube Amplifier with Tube Upgrades. This amplifier features single ended triode design operating in pure class A. Includes manual, remote, power cord, and several tube upgrades: two Electro Harmonix 6SN7 and one Mullard 5691 (6SL7). The Mullard is missing the guidepost but it sounds wonderful. Original tubes included as well. Amp has many nice features including point to point wiring, gigantic premium quality transformers, variable feedback selection, backlit dual function meters for easy bias adjustment and power use monitoring; 4,8, and 16 ohm taps and of course its own preamp. (The power amp is designed to be run with any separate preamp). Lots of additional info and several fine reviews available on the net. I want to add that the power tubes run hot, which is normal for this design. This 508 has had pre-emptively corrected a design flaw with a capacitor that could overheat. It has never displayed the problems some owners have had with this capacitor, but it has been upgraded so there is now no need to worry -it is ready for years of enjoyment!
