Another item from Ricky Young, Quality Artifacts, Springfield, Vermont. Vintage Eico ST-70 Stereo Tube Integrated Amplifier Control Center Pre-Amp, 70W. This Eico amplifier has been properly and carefully hooked up for limited testing and will require service to function properly.

It was connected to a pair of speakers and then powered on. When powered on, there was a significant amount of hissing and an occasional popping noise. When a stereo source was connected to the tape head inputs, the music sounded fine with the hissing still in the background. No further testing was done.

In comparing this amp to others like it, this one is very clean inside and out, and it has additional components inside (please see the pictures). Power Output: 35 watts per channel continuous sine wave power; 70 watts total. Total Harmonic Distortion: Less than 1% 25-20,000 Hz within 1dB of 35 watts per channel. Frequency Responce: +/-0.5dB 18-43,000 Hz at 35 watts per channel. Speaker Output Impedance: 4, 8, 16 ohm.
