Vintage Realistic SAF-40B Tube Integrated Amplifier EL84, 12AX7

  
Up for sale is this beautiful Realistic SAF-40B stereo tube integrated amplifier. I believe Pioneer made this for Realistic.

I tested it and it seems to work as it should. Even the phono section seems to work.

Someone, at some point, did restore this amplifier using all new electrolytic and films caps as well as replacing many resistors. They did a decent job and the unit appears to operate as it should. It has all new JJ 12AX7 tubes for its preamp section and a mix of used EL84 tubes for its output section.

They work but should probably be replaced. This will be double boxed with all the tubes removed and packed separately.
