1958 RCA mark IV hifi console phonograph rebuilt tube amp with bluetooth

  

This sale is for a cool mid century modern 1958 RCA mark IV hifi console phonograph with a rebuilt tube amp and now with bluetooth. This an excellent sounding unit for the era and this is one of the "Orthophonic High Fidelity" models. The amp is a mono design with two 6V6 tubes running in AB for about 12 watts. It has four speakers, two 12"s and two 3" tweeters.

I replaced the tweeter crossover cap and nearly every cap in the amp as well as anything else found to be iffy. I wired up a simple Bluetooth adapter to the aux input using a cable I modified. The original stack type record changer is still there, but it doesn't work right (they rarely do).

The mahogany finish cabinet is in pretty good shape, some scratches and dings but nothing terrible. This item comes with all the original tags and manuals from 1958.
