Quad VA-One Integrated Valve Amplifier. The Quad VA-One Integrated Valve Amplifier uses three different models of valve to deliver up a total of 2x12W amplification. The VA-One can be connected with analogue and digital inputs with optical, coaxial and USB Type B all available for digital sources. Plus, the digital file compatibility extends all the way up to 24-bit/192kHz. Furthermore, with Bluetooth aptX connectivity available it is perfect for streaming from a Bluetooth enabled smartphone or tablet. The finish of the chassis is Quad's classic Lancaster Grey, with a motorised potentiometer on the front panel, with input and pairing controls and 6.3mm headphone jack. Excellent build and connectivity; involving, lively sound... An impressive all-round amp that works wonders in a variety of setups... The VA-One might not be terribly big, but it is extremely clever.
