Presenting a rare 1961 Top of the Line virgin H. SCOTT 272 Tube Stereo Integrated Amplifier. It was made in limited quantities anf one of their best. This is a all original one owner amp with low hours. The amplifier was slowly varied up and passed a clean signal with no hum or noisy controls. With volume up full the amp is silent. The tubes are all original. All six 12AX7s are Telefunken. The two 5U4 are Scott / Westinghouse branded. The three 6BL8 tubes are Scott / Amperex made in Holland. The four EL34 power tubes are Scott / Amperex branded made in Holland. They were tested on a Hickock 539c and passed with flying colors.

Minimum acceptable emission is 3800. We tested a NOS Siemens EL34 and tested 7500. So the on board tubes are just about new. There is one minor little ding on the left lower side edge of the face plate.

This can easily be reversed by someone in the know. On board is Scott's famous patented Dynauaral Rumble Noise Supression circuit that was used in radio broadcasting at the time. These rare 272 integrated amps do not turn up that often especially in this all original beautiful condition. This is a amp you will be proud to own, look at and enjoy listening to. Because its 59 years old it should be gone over by a qualified tech for everyday to be sure all components to factory specs.

Power output: 37 watts per channel into 8 (stereo). Frequency response: 20Hz to 20kHz. Speaker load impedance: 4 to 16. Valve complement: 6 x ECC83, 3 x ECF80 / 6BL8, 4 x EL34, 2 x 5U4GB. SCOTT 272 Stereo Integrated Tube Amplifier Rare" is in sale since Tuesday, March 19, 2019.
