BELL 2200 INTEGRATED TUBE AMPLIFIER MONO 1955 VINTAGE USA 20 Watt AMP working! BELL SOUND SYSTEMS HIGH FIDELITY AMPLIFIER MODEL 2200 VACUUM TUBE AMPLIFIER, vintage 1950's tube amp, designed as a high end audiophile amp by Bell Sound Systems, Inc. Amp is in very good cosmetic condition, please check the pictures.

All the writing is pristine. The Pilot Light with the red cut glass indicator is also still present! All six knobs are perfect and have the golden disc inserted, they just reflect the black background and do not show well in the pictures. Testing: I connected the amp to a record player and Wharfedale W60 speaker for audio testing and it powered up and played clear and undistorted - without any ac hum through the speaker.

The volume control works smooth and linear. The EQ & TONE controls and knobs seemed to work smoothly and properly. The two TUNG-SOLE 5881 tubes were tested on a TV-7 Tube Tester with equal measurements of 31 a matching pair! , a reading of 25 is the minimum for a perfect working tube. One of the tubes actually had a reading of only 20 it still worked! But I replaced the tube with another TUNG-SOLE made in the USA. I will include the weak tube also. All tubes are marked with a marker stating the measurement I read on the TV-7. The electrolytic capacitor became hot after a while and may need to be reformed or replaced. The amp measures appx 15" Wide (16 1/8" Wide from the flanges) x 7 1/2" Deep x 7 3/4" Tall. What you see is what you get.
