Pilot SM-244 Tube Integrated Amp using EL84 6BQ5 output tubes

  

A nice Pilot SM-244 Integrated stereo tube amp is for sale. This amp is a combination of Pilot SP-210 preamp and SA-232 power amp.

This is very rare Pilot tube amp that has exactly the same circuits and components as in the SA-245 with different cosmectics. I have both of these and there are no differences in sonic performances. Photo #3 is for SM-244 and Photo#4 is for SA-245 respectively as your reference. They are pretty much identical. I have it completely refurbished in power supply with new electrolytics if necessary.

The circuit was not changed from original factory circuit. Also vitamin-Q caps were installed into the output tube section. It looks very decent, works great and sounds sweet and impressive. The output transformers are exactly the same as in famous Pilot SA-232 amp. The preamp section is that of SP-210 preamp.
