Rogue Audio Sphinx V2 Stereo Tube Hybrid Integrated Amplifier. This is the non-remote version although you can send the unit to Rogue if you wish to add a remote control. Sounds wonderful and indeed, I liked the sound so much, I've moved up to Rogue's separate Hybrid Amplifier model and preamp.

Version 1 of the Sphinx received rave reviews from Stereophile, The Absolute Sound, etc. This new version has improved headphone and phono sections and a lower noise floor. Since it is a new version 2 model there are not that many reviews, however, look for the Audiophiliac review if interested.

A high capacity linear power supply provides tremendous energy storage to recreate the deepest bass passages while various regulated power supply stages provide ultra smooth sound in the midrange and treble. The machined aluminum faceplate is available in either black or silver to compliment the rest of your components and the optional remote further adds the convenience of remote volume operation.
