You have a chance to get unique High End 2022 Edelweiss-3 Power Amp Plus PROTOTYPE for sale by the author that is not in a current production yet. This version has unique design, combining signature of Single Ended class A amplifier with twice more power than can be obtained from the single tube operating in class A, assisting it by another one that works as a modulated current source with huge dynamic internal resistance that does not affect the main tube signature. It adds Push-Pull class A power, keeping Single Ended sound signature that preserves "an air" and fine details in the music reproduced. It was designed for high end planar magnetic headphones and high efficiency speakers, 90 dB/W/M minimum for life-like loudness.

Life-like sound quality, class A1 Assisted Single Ended proprietary design with nested feedback loops. The previous version of the amp had been named the best headphone amp in 2021 by Headphone Experience channel on Youtube. 12W per channel can drive any, even most power hungry, planar magnetic headphones, and many high end speakers (90 dB/W/M minimum). The amplifier has variable speaker damping control.

It is continuous variable, from active servo-damping (negative output impedance) to almost current drive (positive output impedance). In the middle, you can adjust damping for your particular speakers like solid state amp, triode tube amp, pentode tube amp, with or without feedback. No need to select an amp for your particular speakers if you can adjust it by a single knob. It is designed forr EL34 or KT77 tubes. No need to match pairs, the bias is automatically adjusted.

The driver is a twin-pentode Compactron 8CB11, video penthode designed at the top of the tube era for color TVs. This prototype has the power transformer that can be resoldered either for 120V 60 Hz, or for 240V 50 Hz. It has voltage regulator for preamp B+ and DC filament power source for zero audible hum. 4 selectable line level inputs.

Speaker outputs are optimized for 8, 16, and 32 Ohm nominal load. Optimal selection of components optimized according to the functions they perform. No need to swap components inside, you will be satisfied by the last ever power amp you would ever need.
