Classic Fisher X-101C Tube Integrated Amplifier 7591 push pull tested working

  

A classic Fisher tube amp that sounds great. About 27 watts/chan rms which is a lot for any tube amplifier. You will never have to turn this up all the way.

Has a warm tube sound with no hum. I've been through it and replaced a few components that were either bad or way off spec (R62, C31, R80). These are very reliable units - so 3 components in 60 years isn't bad!

The rest of the unit looks original. I received it without tubes, so these are all vintage, but not Fisher labeled. The six 12AX7s are all GE. The four output tubes (7591) are a matched pair of Sylvania on the left and a matched pair of GE on the right. I've checked all the inputs (Tuner, AUX, Phono Lo & Hi, Tape & Tape head) and all the controls for proper operation.

They have all been cleaned with deoxidizer. All the knobs are the proper knobs for this model. The headphone jack is working and I've been driving the center channel with no issues for a couple of days. I've used it to test a Spacexpander Reverb unit with the 4 jacks provided for that purpose - no issues. The only flaws are the bit of corrosion/staining on the top of the chassis and the power cord has one small cut that I have taped over.

These units are rare to find and should last another 60 years! I can have it staged with a nice pair of speakers for you to hear it through. If you decide against, I will cancel the order with no repercussions.

I've got a few different Fisher amps posted - come hear them all and decide. For export purposes, there is no mercury in this unit, there is no selenium in this unit (uses silicon), and there is no cadmium plating in this unit.
