GE General Electric MS-4000 Stereo Classic tube Amplifier

  

This is the General Electric. A heavy, well-made tube amplifier from circa 1959. Cosmetically and functionally in excellent condition.

All tubes have been tested on an Amplitrex AT-1000 tester (fixed bias setting) and test at or above 70% emissions on all of the signal tubes and 80% or more emissions on the four 6973 output tubes. All the output tubes are vintage RCA, and all of the signal tubes are vintage US made-tubes. The rectifier tube is a brand new Sovtek 5AR4. This seldom-seen amplifier exudes mid-century modern style, and the warm, lush tube sound envelops you. Has a wonderful phono stage for spinning your vinyl (see attached video).

All inputs have been tested and sound great. Has outputs for 4/8/16 ohm speakers.
