DC offset voltage (midpoint voltage) adjustment. The sliders of the volume controls were rubbed and cleaned. The lever switches (8 units) had many poor contacts due to dirt and oxide coating, so they were disassembled, polished, and cleaned.

The selector switch and mode switch were removed, and the contacts were rubbed and cleaned. The tone control switch contacts were rubbed and cleaned. The PRE-MAIN slide switch contacts were rubbed and cleaned.

The input RCA terminals were polished to a beautiful finish. The front panel and knobs were polished and cleaned with ultra-fine particle compound to remove dirt.

After maintenance, we checked the sound output by inputting records and CDs. The playback sound is clear, with a lingering sound from high to low frequencies and the sparkle of LUX TONE. No scratching noise was felt when operating the volume or balance. The sound quality is smooth, which is hard to believe for a transistor amplifier. Since there is no protection relay circuit, a slight noise may occur when the power is turned on/off. It is recommended that you turn the speaker switch off before turning the power on/off.
