Silk Audio is proud to present the Yaqin MS 500B. It is the classic Class A Triode Single Ended Output based on the well known 300B triode one each per channel.

This design is known to give extremely musical presentation of music into high efficiency speakers. It employs high quality components throughout audiophile capacitors in the signal path, precision metal film resistors, motorized Alps volume control and gold plated signal inputs.

Besides the normal 4 or 8 ohm speaker outputs, it also supports a front panel headphone jack. 3 of the input signals accept line level inputs (CD players, DACs and the like) where the 4. Operates at higher signal level (pre-amp output) and converts the unit to a power amplifier. A full function remote control that operates these controls is included. The high voltage supply utilizes tube rectification for hash free supply normally associated with silicon rectifiers. The bias to the output tubes are automatically adjusted and need no periodic adjustments.

High voltage turn-on delay for soft starts to the tubes protects them from turn on surges. Audiophile caps in critical locations with audiophile electrolytic capacitors and precision metal film resistors used throughout. High quality motorized volume control. Volume control muted during power up to prevent transients. Specially wound output transformers using OFC copper and Japanese audiophile silicon steel core material.

Gold plated RCA signal connectors. Retains input selection from last power on. Power Output: 8.5W x 2 in full Class A operation. Output Load: 4 or 8 Ohm. Maximum Output: 18V (THD=0.5%). Frequency Response: 5Hz - 40kHz (-2dB). Distortion: less than 1.5% (1KHz, 8 Ohm). S/N ratio: Better than 84dB (A weighted). Input Sensitivity: 0.2V line input or 1V power amp mode.
